Our Passion
We operate a commercially insured 3-horse slant load trailer equipped with interior monitoring cameras, secure individual dividers, and GPS tracking for real-time location transparency. Our clients can have confidence knowing their horse’s location is traceable during transport. We specialize in transporting ranch horses, cutting horses, performance horses, young horses, problem horses, broodmares and stallions, and horses requiring veterinary transport. We are proud to serve Marana and the surrounding Southwest region while maintaining professional interstate transport standards.

Our Services
We provide professional interstate hauling throughout Arizona, California, Utah, Colorado, New Mexico, and Texas. Our long hauls prioritize safety and comfort with GPS tracking, shavings for comfort and urine absorption, visual checks, water offered at regular intervals, and secure individual dividers for each horse. We follow all state and federal livestock transport requirements and require current veterinary health documentation for interstate travel.
Pre-Trip Loading Support
To further support horse owners and promote safe transport, we offer pre-trip loading and unloading training programs to improve trailer confidence, reduce transport stress, address loading resistance, and promote safe handling before travel. Proper preparation leads to safer transport for both horse and handler.

Meet Our Team
Meet John & Isabel
JRS Horse Transport & Training was created by John and Isabel from a shared love of horses and a commitment to safe, dependable, personalized care. John has worked with trainers throughout Arizona and Texas, with experience in performance horses, team roping, and cutting. His background provides a strong understanding of horse handling, conditioning, and the demands of performance horses.
Isabel specializes in the warm-up and cool-down of performance horses and the management of equine facilities. Together, John and Isabel understand the importance of trusting someone with your horse. They focus on safety, patience, communication, and quality care, treating every horse with the same attention they would give their own.
Meet Daniel Taylor
Daniel Taylor brings a strong background in the 4H community, with extensive experience raising and working with both poultry and cattle. Through 4H, Daniel has developed a foundation in animal care, responsibility, handling, and dedication to the livestock industry.
As the nephew of John and Isabel Shafe, Daniel is continuing to build his knowledge and horsemanship while currently training under his uncle, John Shafe. He is developing hands-on experience with performance horses and learning the skills, discipline, and attention to detail that go into quality horse training and care.
